We did some Christmas cookie cooking with this amazing apron I won from a Relief Society auction.
We went to a community center Chirstmas party. It was so cute, and the Santa was not busy at all, so Kade really got to take his time warming up to him. They also had a lot of really fun crafts and treats.
We had Christmas in Indiana with my parents and Kade loved it. I had talked so much about Santa that when morning came he understood that Santa came and left him a "cool car." He also knew that the baby in all the nativities was Baby Jesus.
Then we headed out to Utah to spend a little time with the Leavitt's. Kade loves Jarin's dad, and couldn't get enough of Papa. Anytime he entered the room Kade wanted him to hold him.
We spent some time with my sister, Leslie, and her daughter, Aubrie.
We celebrated Jarin's 27th Birthday. Happy Birthday! We love you!
Jarin's dad is Fire Chief in Kamas, so we got a tour of the Fire Department. Kade LOVES fire trucks, so he was in heaven, and we had to watch the video below about 5 times when we left for him to stop crying.
Jarin's parents have a cat, and Kade has a blast letting it inside for a minute in the morning. But don't tell Papa because I don't think the cat is supposed to come inside.
And even got to go to Saint George with our friends to ring in the new year. We always love our trips to Saint George. There is nothing like going to the park in December. Kade and Cam are good friends now!
Another night with the friends, watching a football game.
After it all, we were exhausted. We always play too hard on vacation to feel any more rested when we arrive at home.

You know, if you like the park in December, you should think about spending some time living in Tucson...hint... hint. We love the park year round here... although in June and July it's the water park unless you want to get there before 8AM or after 7pm.
